The antibody reacts with a monomorphic HLA A, B, C specificity and cross-reacts with various primate species. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). NOTE: a feeder layer of mouse peritoneal macrophages or X-irradiated mouse fibroblasts (see ATCC 56-X, irradiated STO cells) must be used in order to successfully recover these cells from the frozen state. |
